New partnership means the accelerated growth of hooox

Guillaume Vyncke was appointed managing director of hooox on 15 February 2017 with the aim of, together with the company’s founder and CEO Mathieu Van Marcke, growing the marketing company even further in the wake of the excellent rise in turnover of 20% in 2016. Mathieu Van Marcke and Artexis Easyfairs have also signed a cooperation agreement with respect to the Realty property trade fair.

Daily operations at hooox will now be overseen by the new managing director Guillaume Vyncke. Guillaume has been a part of the hooox team since 2015, joining the executive committee the following year, where he already reported to the Board of Directors and headed the management team. Hooox has been a major marketing force in the real estate market for the last decade, and our aim is now to further grow the company and extend our activities.

Mathieu Van Marcke will also be charting our future strategy and supervise the growth of the Realty trade fair. He will naturally still be the CEO of hooox and will divide his time between the jobs.

The decision to partner with Artexis Easyfairs for the Realty trade fair was a logical step forward in every possible sense. That’s because hooox has been responsible for the Flanders Development Group’s presence at the Cannes MIPIM property expo since 2010, while in 2014 Mathieu was the force behind the creation of the Belgian pavilion, which grew into a successful partnership between all the Belgian players in attendance. That means we have accumulated more than enough expertise and experience to lead Realty. Hooox has also been a partner of the Realty trade fair since its very first outing back in 2009, and both companies work closely together as media partner and exhibitor. In 2016 hooox advised on the rebranding of Realty and devised marketing tools for Artexis Easyfairs for that purpose.

‘To further expand the Realty trade fair is a fantastic opportunity,’ said Mathieu Van Marcke. ‘It’s tenth anniversary is in 2018 and that makes it the perfect time to further bolster the positioning and role of the trade fair. Personally, I see much potential in creating a strong Belgian real estate community, giving the property sector greater opportunities for making a positive impact on our future in terms of accommodation, work and life in general.’
