Anyone who regularly drives along the E40 between Ghent and Bruges will undoubtedly be familiar with the former MP Centre, situated next to the slip road. A building with great potential in a strategic location. John Geernaert, CEO of Ghent-based G-Label, recognised this too. G-Label is a well-known name in the world of office development along Flemish motorways, with projects such as Skyline40 in Aalst and property management of the iconic UCO Bellevue tower in Ghent.

The collaboration between hooox and G-Label is not new. Both companies share the same values: straightforwardness, transparency and a cost-conscious approach. Following successful collaborations on Skyline40 and an exclusive project in the French Alps, the move to The Curve was quickly made.

Flexible workplace

At its core, The Curve remains an office project, with a name that refers to the distinctive curve of the slip road to the E40 and the bend in the building’s design. Bontinck Architecture & Engineering is transforming the building into a sustainable and modern workplace, with this architectural bend being reflected in all marketing communications.

With 11,600 m² of office space, The Curve offers a flexible solution for a variety of businesses. From spacious open-plan areas and private terraces to co-working spaces on the ground floor with shared facilities such as a meeting centre and a food corner, everything has been designed to take as much work off companies’ hands as possible.

The Curve, a no-nonsense office project

Hooox created a no-nonsense 3D animated film that clearly and realistically depicts the future of The Curve. The ‘what you see is what you get’ principle plays a key role in building trust with potential tenants, especially as construction work is still in full swing. This direct approach is also reflected in the storytelling: no spin or exaggerated sustainability claims, but a focus on high-performance buildings and optimal working comfort.
